Briarwood Women’s Ministry seeks to support all ministries of the church, modeling Christ’s example of ministry as described in Philippians chapter 2, and exists to connect women to God, each other and to the church. Women on Mission
A missions organization for women to conduct mission activities at all levels and lead the church in supporting missions through prayer, gifts, and education. Women on Mission helps women grow spiritually toward a missions lifestyle participating in the work of the church and the denomination. Meets monthly at various locations.
Beth Moore, Living Proof Ministries Well-known Southern Baptist writer and teacher, Beth Moore, offers a variety of books, studies and devotions about Scripture and Christian living, and helps readers connect with important biblical characters like Daniel, James, Esther and more.
Kay Arthur, Precept Ministries International Precept Ministries International is dedicated to equipping people everywhere with the tools to discover Truth for themselves by studying God’s Word inductively through observation, interpretation and application. Inductive Bible study is the most powerful and rewarding method to personal discovery and longer retention.
Briarwood Men love the Lord Jesus Christ and desire to serve the church and community.

Men’s Prayer Breakfast Thursday mornings, 7 a.m. at Cracker Barrel led by Pastor Rick. Open to all men in the community.

Senior Adult Ministry: Ever-Ready Group
The Ever-Ready group offers fellowships and outings for Senior Adults, 50 years and older. Senior Adults at Briarwood are some of the most active members of our church. They host luncheons, trips, and a Sunday evening Bible Study. Members also volunteer in many areas of our church.
Seniors meet once a month, September-May, for a covered dish meal, fellowship and event planning. Luncheons take place in the Fellowship Hall and feature a guest speaker or special topic. Participants bring a food dish to share.
Apple Pickin’ is for seniors to enjoy a day in the North Georgia mountains exploring unique dining options and spending quality times with friends.
Fishing at the Log Cabin – Seniors are invited twice a year for fishing and fellowship at the pastor’s log cabin.
Celebrators Conferences are discipleship events where the program is geared to the “older joy.” Locations include Myrtle Beach, Pigeon Forge, and Memphis.

Single Adult Ministry
For those who are single, or single again, Briarwood offers a place for connection, community, Bible study and worship.
Sunday school classes for men and women meet at 9:55 a.m.
The ladies class meets together for lunch on the last Sunday of each month.
