At Briarwood, we are a sending church as we continue to develop mutually-benefitting mission partnerships domestically and internationally. Currently, our partnerships are in:
WOMEN ON MISSION
A missions organization for women to conduct mission activities at all levels and lead the church in supporting missions through prayer, gifts, and education. Women on Mission helps women grow spiritually toward a missions lifestyle participating in the work of the church and the denomination. Meets monthly at various locations.
LOCAL MINISTRY PARTNERS
We partner with area-ministries to extend our ministry reach.
Chosen For Life [A foster care and adoption support ministry]
Area Churches Together Serving (A.C.T.S.) [Oconee County food bank and clothes closet]
UGA BCM [Sharing the gospel and developing UGA students into Christian leaders]
Penfield Addiction Ministries [Provides rehab care with respect using a Christ-centered approach]
Oconee Area Resource Council [Works to fill identified needs in the community]
Mercy Health Center [Provides clinical services for underserved neighbors]
